"The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself.”

DANIELLE'S UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE...
Danielle is a Child, Adolescent, Family Therapist, and Play Therapist specializing in Child-Centered Play Therapy.
Danielle earned her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a certificate in Child and Adolescent Therapy. Her theoretical orientation is rooted in Family systems and systemic thinking. Whether working with a child, adolescent, parents or family her case conceptualization begins with examining the elements of family functioning, family relationships, and family identity.
Danielle's clinical experience includes work in private practice in Marietta, facilitating DBT groups, and as a therapist at the Hope Counseling Center in Atlanta where she worked with individuals, children, couples, and families.
Before becoming a Child, Adolescent, and Family Therapist, Danielle studied Theology at Lee University. Out of her study of God, her natural love for people grew which inspired her to pursue counseling where she would have the opportunity to partner with families to help facilitate health and wholeness. She also worked closely with families as a volunteer at a pregnancy center and an in home child-care provider. She continues to serve her community as a college women’s small group leader.
Individuals describe Danielle as warm, energetic, caring, and collaborative. From Danielle’s perspective counseling at its core is an experience of freedom and restoration.
