Dr. Allen's UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE...

Dr. Allen serves as the Clinical Director for Perspectives Psychologocial, LLC. He works with children, adults, and families in a number of capacities.
​
Dr. Allen has worked and trained with several organizations including OASIS counseling, PSI counseling centers, the Scottish Rite Neuropsychology Department, Oglethorpe University Counseling Center, Restore Neurobehavioral Program, and NorthStar. After years of working in these facilities and private practice, Dr. Allen prefers to work in a consultive role. These days Dr. Allen offers consultations to families, individuals, government organizations, and other businesses. Since Dr. Allen has chosen to not be licensed as a psychologist in the state of Georgia, he does not perform formalized testing, or other services falling under the domain of licensed psychologists.
Currently Dr. Allen also teaches at Richmont Graduate University. He has taught Psychodynamic Theories and Counseling, Child and Adolescent Psychopathology, Research Methods, Addictions Counseling, Clinical Appraisal, and Applied Lab. Dr. Allen enjoys teaching and providing educational presentations on a wide range of psychological topics. He is available to present for professional organizations, schools, PTA’s, and church groups.
